Prenatal Self-Care

Prenatal yoga and positive affirmations help create a focused mind, strong yet flexible body, and deep connection with your baby. Enjoy making space for yourself and your little one. Mommas to be will enjoy the gentle inward practice as we take time and make space in the body for two hearts. Class will end with an extended supported savasana (final relaxation) in a yoga throne fit for a queen.

Essentials of Ayurveda

Ayurveda is an ancient Indian practice that complements yoga by providing a description of our relation and place within the natural world. Based in an understanding of the five elements, this workshop will introduce you to the "science of life" by reviewing body types, mental constitutions, and identifying your own. We will also discuss the effect of diet, the changing of the seasons, and balancing yoga practices for optimum health and wellness throughout the year with a focus on the current season.

Yoga + The Seven Chakras

This workshop is an introduction to the seven chakras (energy focal points in the body) and how a knowledge of them can help inform a yoga asana/posture or meditation practice. We will briefly discuss the origins, ancient and modern day use of the chakras, and look at where each is located in the body. You will have a chance to practice several poses which help engage specific chakras before a final relaxation in savasana.
